CrazyGilbert
I just downloaded the world of faces mod but it doesnt work every new face or hair mesh says it isnt there but when I look in the meshes folder it is. but when making lets say a new head acually be a choice you need to go to the bodypart thing and add an art file. I had to scroll through them all untill I found the one i wanted, is there a way you can make subfolders and it wont mess up the data files? Switch
Well, take a look at the zip file that it came in. In the Meshes folder, there may be subfolders. If so, then you'll need to add those subfolders to your Data Files\Meshes folder on your hard drive and add the files from the zip into those subfolders, just as they are in the zip. If you just dump them in the Data Files\Meshes folder when they require subfolders they won't be referenced properly in game and so you'll get errors galore, as it looks for them in a folder that isn't there. KzinistZerg
You need to ensure that htey are actually in the right folders; they may be in the meshes folder... they may be in a seperate mod folder. Check the ZIP file.
CrazyGilbert
so you are saying to open up the zip file and go into the meshes file (in the zip) and copy the folder "meshes" and put it in the "meshes" folder in the datafiles? Switch
Umm no... Go to the zip file for the mod, and look for the meshes folder inside. Double click it. In that folder will either be: A: The mesh files there on their own without any additional folders. B: A number of folders with names like "A" "C" etc. If there are folders, you need to copy and paste the files contained within them into the same folders within Data Files\Meshes on your PC. Create them if you have to. Doing all this manually will hopefully make sure it's all unzipped properly.
Abramul
Sometimes a zip will have:---a folder called "Data Files"---a folder called "Morrowind"In either case, simply put the folder in the matching parent directory.
Kevin Woodman
At least with the zip files you can see what the parent directory is, Sometimes with Auto installers you end up with your files in bethesda or morrowind folder, or a data files folder in your data files folder. i suppose i should read those readmes.
