JasonSimnov
I started a bunch of downloads at a friend's house, but had to leave before they had finished, so I paused them all. Back on my home internet, I went to resume the downloads and it kept trying to open Nexus on the default browser (NOT the one I use for Nexus) and trying to make me redownload from the beginning. I've temporarily changed my default browser to the one I'm signed into Nexus on, however even when it opens the link, it still wants me to download mods all over again. This is a problem, because I was midway through one download when I paused it, but it wants me to overwrite the progress I've already made just to download the mod again. And what about the compressed folders for each of the mods? How are those unviable, despite being on my computer already? Note: attached is the error log for mods failing to resume download. Guest deleted34304850
you've changed networks so you've obviously changed ip address. no network protocol on the planet is going to know that you're attempting to pick up from where you left off, regardless of what fragments of files are on your hard disk.that's not a vortex issue, its how the interwebs work. I don't see why the change of IP address would disturb it. Besides, if what you're saying was true, wouldn't VPNs outright block downloads? I know for a fact that doesn't happen, so either you're straight-up lying or you just don't know.

Tannin42
Changing network should indeed not be a problem, all a resume is is that Vortex tells the server to download a file but start at an offset. However, not every server _supports_ doing that in which case a resume won't be possible, there is nothing Vortex can do about that.Further: download links from nexusmods.com are tied to the user account so if you were logged in with a different account a resume won't be possible. And finally, download links from nexusmods.com are only valid for a limited time. None of these cases Vortex can do anything about I'm afraid. The error message you're getting implies this is caused by one of the latter reasons, the link has either expired or belongs to a different user account.
