FWE/FOOK/MMM Help

Ok, today i installed FWE/FOOK/MMM

along with a cannibal mod, Wasteland Whisperer, Weapon mod kits, Road Wardens, and Fast but dramatic VATS.

 

I started by installing FOOK, All 3 Main files packages, the Latest ESP's, Then followed by MMM, then FWE, followed by the other smaller mods.

I then followed FOIP to make a load order, which i will paste at the end of the post.

 

Started the game, Set difficulty to Very Hard, and found some raiders to play with. Came to a bit of a shock how quick i got destroyed by even one of them, i was using some basic Pistol, my pipboy claimed it did 53 damage a shot, although when shooting Raiders it seemed to do no damage at all, So i pulled out my 27 damage Police Baton, which made quick work of the Raiders, which didnt make sense considering my Melee skill was so low. Beat my way through Springvale School, Came across a Raider with a Assault Rifle type weapon, who raped me continually, doing approximately 20% of my Health each shot, I finally took him down, And claimed the weapon for myself! Checked Pipboy, 93 damage! Nice! No wonder i was getting so pumped.

Anyway, head up to some more raiders, use my newly claimed CANNON on them, and seemed to do no damage again. I couldnt understand what was going on, I thought maybe i was missing due to my low Small guns Skill, So i hacked my character, Maxed Small Guns out to 100, Encountered a single raider, ran up to point blank, and unloaded an entire clip into him, Which confused me a little, i thought surely maxed SG's, and this assault rifle would have killed him, but to my dismay i had really only done 2? maybe 3 bars of damage to him? Weapon damage had gone up to 108? I think? And 24 bullets in a clip.... In the vanilla game i do more damage to supermutant masters with a 10mm pistol. With all the mods, i can do more damage with a 21 Melee skill, and a 27 damage weapon, than i can with any ranged weapon and a 100 respective skill, even the 173 damage Vindicator Minigun did hardly any damage to the residents of Rivet City.

 

Cant figure out whats going on, all i can think is my load order is incorrect, or perhaps my installation, but ive installed everything in the zip files from the FOOK Website. When i check FOOK.esm, and FOOK.esp in G.E.C.K its also missing alot of the weapons that FOOK claims to include. Maybe thier reference comes from another file i wasnt checking.

 

Anyway, any help/info anyone can provide would be awesome, Thanks.

First off, FOOK already stated that the Weapon Damages showin in the Pipboy are not correct and is a hardcoded problem.

 

That may be what is confusing you on the power.

 

As well FWE makes enemies HARDER to kill, take that + hard difficulty = a very hard to kill NPC.

 

At any rate:

[X] Headshot_Balance.esp

 

May be the cause of the problem.

 

Disable those and retry it.

 

I have FOOK, FWE, MMM, SP_Destruction and I do not have the problem you have. I still blow limbs off an NPC with a Hunting Rifle.

OK, I figured it out, i dont think it had anything to do with teh mods you suggested as i think they affect the main player only, I tested it out, Sniper Rifle, And a raider camp. 1 Shot to the head from headshot = Death, almost always, However, If i shot them in the arms, or legs, it would do very little damage... Thanks to Very Hard Difficulty, AND FWE

"- Arm damage reduced to 15% (was 100%)

- Leg damage reduced to 20% (was 100%)"

 

So yeah, I guess i was just being a goddamned terrible shot. Or having hitbox issues, im not too sure. Maybe i'll have to tone the difficulty down.

 

Also, i knew FOOK didnt display correct values, Just, i thought they'd be an accurate indication of how much damage one weapon did compared to another.

 

Out of curiosity, what difficulty do other people reading this play FOOK/FWE/MMM on? Normal? or Very Difficult.

Very hard is dumb, just makes foes tanks.. stupid tanks. Having to shoot a foe 12 times in the face to kill it isn't harder, nor it's fun, it's just grind.

 

 

As such, i prefer normal/hard and then load increased increased spawns, zombie rampage, and leave ghoul rise on.
