Scav Filter - Would This be Possible?

I was wondering if it would be possible to make a mod where you get presented with a list of all lootable items with a place to put a tick next to items you want automatically excluded from the Take (A)ll command. Or does such a mod already exist? Obviously the list would be huge but I think it could be trimmed down by use of filters. A couple I can think of off the top of my head would be, for example, Show Only "Junk" items (ashtrays, bent tin cans, plates, forks, etc.) In this case "Junk" items are defined as being worth X caps or less and / or weigh X amount or more (player selects the values in each case) and are not a component of a home-built weapon. Another filter might be one where if the item is 0 weight it will always be takeable even if it is "junk" so obviously this filter would supersede the previous one or, at the very least, present the player with an error message based upon the conflict.

All I know is I get tired of having to go through my inventory and drop all the bent tin cans, ash trays, and so forth that seem to keep accumulating and aren't worth the effort to sell off.

Thanks!

an interesting idea...

hehe

i would consider that punishment however for having thieving fingers and stealing everything that isnt bolted down lol.

My only objection to that statement is the fact that I have a fairly impressive tool collection so I SHOULD be able to steal THOSE items as well. {:-p

Besides which, the way I see it, it isn't theft if there's no loss of karma involved. {;-)

It's relatively easy to take all the items in a cell and lumping them inside a container, then opening the container. But it is not possible to return those items to where they where if you decide not to pick them.

Other than that, selective takeall command... not likely.
