mrp8196
the humans are cowards now. Is there a way to make em not cower and run away and fight like a man. Sometimes they cower after 1 hit.

Not sure what you mean by "now" but you would have to change their disposition in the creation kit. under the "Actor" section you would find the character you wanted to change. There are several tabs and under the AI tab you would find "Aggression" and "Confidence." You can make the changes you want there.
anjenthedog
"now" sounds to me like you might have installed the "cowering NPCs" mod (not its name but there is one that does that)
7531Leonidas
One of the mods that has 'reputation' or the like could also be a problem.

anjenthedog
Did this suddenly start to happen or are you on a new, unmodded installation? If the former (it just started all of a sudden), if you can remember when you started noticing it (roughly), try a save file from just before that and see if it's still broken. If not.... (that is, if the bug is no longer present) at least then you'd have a fallback (in case its one of those unsolvable glitches that seem to occasionally get baked into some saves) Ain't gotz nuffin else, so good luck. oh.... There's always onion peeling (uninstalling mods in reverse order of installation to solve a mod related bug), but I'm sure you'd like to avoid that just as much as anyone else...
