Beams98
Hi I just recently installed the morrowind overhaul 3.0 mod and everything is great except some of my armor is glowing white and looks really weird. Anyone know how to fix this?
hollaajith
Is it Daedric Armor like this? If so then install this patch. Also while you are at it, install this too.MGSO v 3.0 Temporary Patch 5 by john.moonsugar. It corrects many bugs and make sure go over known issues over at the official forums. Beams98
It only seems to happen with steel armor, I don't wear it but it's annoying looking at npcs wearing glowing white armor :/

elBastard0
I had this same problem with mgso 3.0 installed. The problem is fixed by running the MGSO options tool and changing the armors option to "Detailed nonreflective". I hope this answer helps someone in the future with the same problem! This also fixes the problem with daedric and ordinator armors.

Keep in mind that if you updated or added new mods after MGSO, then changing settings in MGSO options rests the Data Files, removing your new mods. So, its better to use the patch, rather than changing options. Also, if you haven't there are many more issues like outdated mods which can be fixed. More info at the MGSO thread at the bethesda forum.
Wachznuik
I have a more specific situation with the daedric armor. I tried two mods to fix this (Darknuts Armor Textures) and (Spirits daedric armor fix) or whatever. Spirits Daedric armor fix helped me actually SEE Divayth Fyr without the crazy glowing around him. However, my character is female. As I try to put on the cuirass - the game crashes or shows the cuirass glowing like before. So I tried putting it to detailed, non reflective - but oh wait, I was already on that. So now I am trying "Default Armor" in the MGSO options.Did not work. Back to glowing. So, on detailed - non reflective, using Spirits Daedric Armor fix it works the best BUT with only one problem - the female cuirass does not work. Perhaps I need to drag the mesh/A/a_daedric_cuirass file to the rightr folder? I dont know.
