Nexus Mod Manager is not finding the Nexus server?

I'm glad I'm not the only one, but sorry that others are having trouble too. Thanks for bringing it up. Mine has been unable to connect for about a week. I recognized that there has been an update to the NMM (.46), while I'm still using version .45.7. I would happily update if I could connect to the network.

I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere, but as I am relatively new, I would appreciate an expert opinion or direction towards a previously posted remedy.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

you have to manually download the update...

just make a back up of your skyrim mods folder and install info folder,

move them or archive them (I like to do this as its easier),

uninstall the old version,

Download and install 0.46 (from the link on the site),

start it up so it makes the needed folders for skyrim mods.

shut it down, then just replace the newly made folders with your backups and your good to go

Just found the NMM 0.46.0....I just hit the 'install' icon on this page and problem solved, it overwrites and updates the old NMM...:

http://www.nexusmods.com/games/?

doing that without backing up the INSTALL INFO folder makes all mods that were shown as installed makes them show uninstalled on the new update....i learned that the hard way lol

it would probably be in the same install location of Nexus. If everything was default it should be in the C:/ drive where folders like Program Files is
