Ability to upload pictures to messages and others.

I was just wondering if there is anyway we can upload pictures directly to a composed message, forum and any other type of full editor mode panel instead of having to put a link in. A bit like facebook where you can just drop and drag or upload a picture.

 

I do not know if this has previously been suggested or if it is possible but thought I'd put it out there as a request!

When you are in the forum creating a new post, look up - in the second row there is an icon that kind of looks like a picture. Hovering over it shows that it is the insert image icon. Click on it and you will be able to insert a picture from some URL - I use Photobucket as my picture repository - Any pic that I may want to use here, I put into my photobucket - and then it is easy to insert it here. Using links like this cuts way down on the bandwidth needed. This works with any picture type site that allows linking in this way.

You can already 'attach' images to your PMs. The recipient will be able to click on them and/or see them directly.

But mind the size limit. This is no email service, and storage capacity for non-mod related files is limited for a reason.
