cmosbob
I made a mod that moves the 2 rooms outside of the rivet city marketplace. The lower room is moved down quite a bit, and the metal debris and chalk board that were in front of the door is also moved down. The upper room, I moved up about 5 inches (just enough to clear a new hallway I put in). When the mod is in .ESP form, everything is fine, however, when I changed it to .ESM form, the changes i made to the debris and subsequently, the door behind it, is no longer changed. It appears exactly like it did before I changed anything. The only change between the .ESP and the .ESM was that it was changed into an esm through FOMM's plugin editor. What I am wondering, is, what can I do to fix this, or, if in fact, is it fixable? Bob

I simply deleted the objects that didn't move....and then replaced it again. That fixed it for me. Hopefully the same for you.
TGBlank
*facepalm* Don't do that. Changing the esm flag is not the only change that you need to do, if you're changing vanilla items, you need to re-create the proper ONAM records or the change won't take place ingame. This is done automagically by fo3edit's masterupdate feature.
Rayek
*facepalm* Don't do that. Was just a suggestion. After re-reading I haven't converted an .esp to an .esm my response was just in general when moving items around in the .esp file and them not moving in game. Re-loading the GECK or deleting replacing the item has fixed it for me.
TGBlank
Deleting stuff can bring a wide variety of problems. Never delete stuff to be sure. Clutter and otherwise physics-affected items won't move if they have already been generated by the game in the past until the cell resets, static items will move immediately. I see where you coming from...mine was more of a reference to my own created space and ID's which I wouldn't think would cause any problems. I have limited mod experience...and as to not further derail the original post. Listen to TGBlank :)
