No pip-boy radio music

I can't hear radio music on my pip-boy, But I can hear it on radios. I don't know when it started.

 

Does anyone have a solution?

The pipboy music needs an mp3 codec to be playerd.

Fallout is using the default codecs which are installed with your OS.

Have you disabled or deleted some codecs?

Fraunhofer Institut Integrierte Schaltungen IIS – Codecs

Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec and MPEG Layer-3 Decoder

Sipro Lab Telecom Inc.

 

 

you can use this little tool to have a look at your codecs and to deactivate them again: InstalledCodec

 

 

Here my suggestion how to do:

 

1) load the little tool InstalledCodec

 

2) run the InstalledCodec.exe

 

3) Sort to company by clicking on "company"

 

4) Enable the 2 company = Fraunhofer Institut Integrierte Schaltungen IIS – Codecs

Named: Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec and MPEG Layer-3 Decoder

and the codecs company = Sipro Lab Telecom Inc.

 

5) Load a game and see what is happening

 

I cant promise you that this will work, but I hope so
