beanspan
I'm helping a friend work on her mod, and we've got an NPC who we want to approach the player, to advance the quest without the player having to click on them. Like when the guards run up to arrest you for a crime, dialogue is initiated regardless of the player's action. I seem to remember from the Morrowind days that there was a 'forcegreeting' command but as best I can tell that is not valid for Oblivion.

If I understand what you want to do, then this should work.
