redcore
It's starting in 9 minutes at the time of writing this. Anyone looking for anything in particular? Anyone have any more hope for Nintendo? I'm personally looking forward to more on NMH2 and those new Mario and Zelda games. It'd be nice if they said something about a new Metroid game. Palpenious
I heard they showed a new multiplayer Mario game for Wii, and another Metroid (Prime I presume), but I can't believe after all the smash bros. success they haven't done a new Kirby since 64 (for console anyway, though the DS games were good) or even a Pokemon. Or for that matter, uh hello Mother 3? Or even Earthbound for virtual console? I don't know they seem to be focusing way too much on the motion controller thingie, and coming away from actually making the games themselves more innovative. Hopefully they'll get back in the swing by the holiday season.
Thor.
One Problem about Nintendo these days is the repetitiveness of there games so far, its like they have no emagination. One word that describes Nintendo these days is "PORTED" i mean its getting old fast, except Zelda keep those games coming and also Dead Rising For the Wii coming out this year. Also the other thing that botherd me about the wii is it not in High def, Next gen lol. Even the psp came with component video out capabilities and its a handheld. Thor.
Next generation means big improvement, witch the WII isn't. A motion sinsore slapped on to a gamecube isn't really inovated, just clever marketing, Or is it. Maybe in the short term but if you wan't a console to last compatibility is the way to go, like HD. Imagine trying to play a wii on a 42inch, or even a 52inch tv, looks horrable.

Palpenious
Is Dead Rising for WII out yet. Looking forward to that game. I believe it's out, but I heard all the features are reworked. Like, there's no time limit, no camera, basically sounded like a free-for-all zombie killfest. Which could be fun, but is not really Dead Rising. A motion sinsore slapped on to a gamecube isn't really inovated, just clever marketing, Or is it. Maybe in the short term but if you wan't a console to last compatibility is the way to go, like HD. It may be hard to see, and HD is definitely a big thing now, but Nintendo's sales for the Wii this past year matched those of the PS3 and 360 together. Being that many people probably bought a replacement 360, I think that says something.
