CTD with Reneers Guard Overhaul installed

*sigh* Yet another problem with oblivion hopefully I'll be able to mysteriously fix it again without help, but here goes.

 

Basically after installing the Guard overhaul mod whenever I look at Armand Christof during a theives guild quest or wait (it doesn't always happen, so far it seems to only be in cells with thieves guild members but that may be coincidence) I get a ctd.

 

I know it's Reneers Guard overhaul causing the problems because it stops whenever I deselect it. But it seems to be a well known mod and sounds like something I can't live without so I want to try and find a way to make it work.

It's probably extremely messy I haven't really arranged it I've just left everythign as it was when I added it, but up to now, it all worked. For the record I've also edited INI files to increase general graphical quality (draw distances etc.) that shouldn't have anything to do with it, but I thought I'd add it, just in case.

You can use BOSS to sort all your mods into the (probably) correct load order automatically. Use this and see if your problems go away.

Wow, thanks, that fixed everything. As well as telling me to update a few mods. That is an incredible little program. And I'll be sure to check that website too. Thanks again.

You're welcome! You should probably check for newer versions of all your mods every once in a while, even mods which BOSS didn't warn you about, since BOSS only detects older versions when the newer version has a different name.
