third person animation overhaul

this is a big project

 

third person cam is ok... but after a while the janky animations gets on my tits so it gets uninstalled again

 

i would love to play this game in third person especially melee combat and exploring the city but as it is the animations in third person are ... not great.

is there any way of importing other games animations?

maybe it just needs a skilled and dedicated fan to make this game playable in third person

Can't help you here but I must say that, the second you see the 3D model and it's behaviour in space.....you burst out in laughter.

Even video games from beginning 2000 had better animations in 3D TPS!

Have you seen those distorted arms of V, they are completely crooked after each movement, especially when using a slash/blunt weapon. I have never seen such a bad animation with a 3D skeleton. This is the proof it has been developed on the " hush hush".

 

It looks fine in FPS view but still you can notice how the arms are " thrown right and left in the air" with those "double angled elbows" .

i play alot in stealth mode

 

so for me the most annoying animation is the crouching walk or sneaking

 

legs and body might as well be dettached

 

its all funny till it gets annoying

Would love to see this happen in 2024 since the game is so much better now and Redmod has been out awhile. Would need to do some reading to see where the problems are and what could be done. Still pretty new to modding CDPR games though.
