Sasquatchewan
After downloading a number of cool mods from this site and getting help from forum members, I thought I'd give a (very) little something back. I've got a few mods on the go right now, but I have a very simple mod I made that I know is 100% ready to go. I basically found a list of all the clergy in the game on UESPWiki, then went through the CS and dressed all the chapel priests in monks robes and braided leather sandals, all the chapel Primates in white monks robes and white slippers, and all the Priory brothers and sisters in black robes and braided leather sandals. I also gave everyone (except Martin) haircuts; tonsures for the boys, cropped short for the girls. It's a very simple mod that near anyone here could have done, but I think it adds to the realism of the game and didn't find anything similar in the files hosted here. I'd like to upload it, but I'm not sure what the rules are; does somebody have to test it first? Does it have to be checked for glitches or anything? Is this too simple to bother uploading? Thanks in advance!
exanimis
No matter how small a mod is, it adds to the community. You should be proud of your mod and you should upload it. Make sure that you say in the description that the mod hasn't been tested and leave comments enabled. If there are any incompatibility issues, the people who download it should let you know and you can fix them with an update. Congratulations on completing your first mod and good luck with your next. Tchos
As Exanimis said, there's no such thing as "too simple," and you should upload it. There is no rule that a mod has to be beta-tested before you upload it. Just be prepared to fix it up if users find and report that there are bugs in it. I recommend subscribing to the auto-generated forum topic for it, so you can more easily monitor the responses in your control panel.

tatts24
the programs you will need to get your model in .NIF format are..... python-2.5.4.msi / PyFFI-py2.5-2.0.0-windows.exe which can be found at http://www.python.org/download/ And you will need... blender-2.47-windows.exe Can be found at http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender/ And last you will need.... blender_nif_scripts-2.4.7-windows.exe which can be found here....http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/NIF_Importers_and_Exporters You could probably use ANY 3d modeler you choose, so as long as your able to import your mesh into blender for the .NIF exporter. I myself am a Truespace user which is freeware and can be found at http://www.caligari.com/ As far as anything else I could'nt help any more as I am new to modding, Not so new to 3D but new to the NIF format and I know little about blender other than the basics as it is not my tool of preference. But at least you know now what tools you need to get your model to the format needed. I hope this was of some use. :)
