[Help needed]The Walking Dead: The Game Season 2 save issues

I pre-purchased the game awhile back and after install from Steam, it only sees that Season 1 Episode 1 game save and randomly generates for the rest of the Season 1 episodes which I have already completed.

I then loaded up Season 1 again, to double check and it now only shows Episode 1 completed. So I then looked in the Teltale Games saves folder and most of the saves are gone. Is it possible to find them again and why would installing Season 2 cause this?

Please help.

As far as I can tell, there should be no reason why installing season 2 would wipe saves in and of itself since it prompts for saves when you start season 2.

I didn't think so either. Guess I have to complete Season 1 again. Which stinks.
