Another one - how many packages is too many?

Another quick question. I have very limited experience with scripting, so quite a few functions in my mod are done with packages attached to my follower alias e.g follow distance, outfit change. Is it bad to have loads of packages on one alias?

If you are asking if there is a magic number, no not really. Its simply a good practice, and easier to manage, to use multiple stacks within a package, and put conditions there vs at the alias level. Comes down to your goals and preferences mostly

 

As for your door unlock feature. I never messed with that in packages before, and instead used a spell that checks crosshair ref, and as applicable, have it get unlocked without a key. Its kinda cheating ofc, and imo is a feature more suited for chests and such, but it would work on doors too
