Beltove
Okay, I just got my own private PC for the first time, even threw down the extra money to get a high performance one. I buy and download Fallout 3 ASAP, of course, and begin looking into modding. I compiled my list, got FOMM and put it in after reading a couple guides. I changed the Fallout.ini so I wouldn't get the start up crash, and turned that sucker on. Started fine, and I was able to do the FWE alternative start. Fifteen to thirty minutes late, my game crashes out of the blue. Now, I'm just beginning to use mods so I don't really know where I went wrong, perhaps someone on here could lend me a hand? TheScallywag
Use BOSS to sort your plugins, it does it really well. On occasion it does slip up that is when you use FO3Edit to check if the plugins work together, if FO3Edit coughs an error up then check what plugin it's having the problem with and move it up and down the loadorder whatever helps or remove if need be. Google BOSS and FO3Edit you should be able to find it. Use the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch, it fixes up all kinds of bugs and decreases CTD, hey it might not be the mods stuffing your game up but maybe just Fallout 3 These two plugins are not meant to be activated together, pick only one (personally I like the 'automatics only' one): FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers.espFO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers (automatics only).esp I'm pretty sure all you need is Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release + DLCs.esp, so disable Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp and see if it works, (Dont forget to test, it's very important) Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.espMart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release + DLCs.esp EVE shouldn't be located here, NO mods should, all mods should always be located below the original game plugins. (this single mistake might be the problem... might be...) [X] Fallout3.esm[X] Anchorage.esm[X] EVE.esm[X] ThePitt.esm[X] BrokenSteel.esm[X] PointLookout.esm I hope this helps, keep me posted on what happens and if it helped.
