Elaarie Posted March 31, 2023 Share Posted March 31, 2023 Hi there, I want to bring my outfit mod to Xbox but I don't own one myself and have no way to test it, so I wanted some guidance before just uploading it blindly. First, I read that DXTx is the optimal texture settings for Xbox plus I wanted to avoid BCx textures because of the huge file sizes anyway; I'm wary of the size limit on Xbox. So I re-exported all the texture files, then packaged them into the XB1 .ba2 using the CK. 'Main' .ba2 wasn't repackaged. Then just to see, I ran this version of the mod on my PC and the textures were all messed up in-game - is this normal? Because it was compiled for Xbox? Second area of confusion is about CBBE, I can't find any info on this anywhere. So I know they only have the presets on Xbox and obviously no Bodyslide. So for a 'CBBE Version' on Xbox, is it literally just a regular static .nif of the outfit but exported in the shape of said preset? Straight into Meshes and not Tools I assume? diegoaccord Posted April 3, 2023 Share Posted April 3, 2023 I have PC and Series X, and anything that's messed up on PC will be messed up on Series X. There is no difference in what's compiled for for XBOX compared to PC. Those BA2 files created in the CK for the XBOX upload literally sit in your own data folder, and can be used in your PC version.
