fear3 Fear 3 - Mech on platform fix

Hello. I'm stuck on that mech on the platform near the end of the game. Where you get to confined area with the platform and stairs on either side, You kill the phased spawner character. Then you get the mech and get fragged on lowest level skill everytime. (I always start on easy then go up from there).

 

Is there a way to just remove or weaken it to reasonable level? There are no safe areas to heal up. You get killed in less then 1 min. Change the level to add a safe spot?

 

It's hard enough to get past the spawner, Fear 1&2 I was able to play at my normal level and finish both games.

 

Need help.
