latax Posted April 9, 2023 Share Posted April 9, 2023 Hello. I am sure this is a stupid question, but i can´t find it. I am trying to install TES5Edit from Github (as explained in a steam guide). But unlike SSSedit from Nexus (wich is older), it has no exe. Could someone please explain this to me? (The guide is "2022 Complete Load Order & Basics+ for Skyrim SE 1.5.97"). IsharaMeradin Posted April 9, 2023 Share Posted April 9, 2023 I never downloaded any version of xEdit from GitHub. I always used the stable official releases posted here on the Nexus. Pretty sure that what is at GitHub is the actual code which would need to be compiled in some way before it could be used. The only reason it is "newer" is because it contains their current developer build. Unless you need something that has been explicitly added or corrected since the official public release, just use the one available on the Nexus.
