hard8
This thread in the same area as this thread had the solution to getting the mods download tab to work again quote other thread We're working on fixing this at the moment, we're trying to convert the whole site to HTTPS - so if you're still using http, try changing to HTTPS and it should work end quote other thread original source http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4051540-bug-mods-dont-load/?p=37049900 worked for me, but I keep a url shortcut with all my favourite mods and now all those mods urls to the mods download tab are broken and the download tab page show a letter e only and I have over 300 mods I keep track of this way!.. Vaaksi
Sadly, using HTTPS doesn't help at all for me. Still get the E instead of downloads.
Vaaksi
Any news on this one? Downloaded the newest NMM and not I can't log in into it.. "Cannot reach the Nexus Metadata server.".But the bigger problem is the E showing in files-tab.. My friend can download with his computer, but we couldn't figure out what was different in our setups... It's so odd. Been trying different browsers as well... Any help would be appreciated. Sephlyn
Oh good I'm not the only one, yeah this has been happening to me for the last few days, on Chrome, no idea how long it would of started, haven't been on Nexus in awhile.
Thandal
Try a different browser, see if the issue is related to the one having the problem (settings, cache, etc.)
anony
I'll necro this zombie just to state that 4 years later, the infamous "E" still lurks and the webpages load slow as ever at times. Networking just doesn't appear to be one of those things this site will ever contain stability in but I understand, reasons. No need to explain but I felt the need to complain, nothing personal. KunoMochi
Check if you are loading up the page with HTTPS instead of regular HTTP. If it is, change it back to HTTP.
Numbnumb
Is this happening on every single page load, Grizzly? So you go to Skyrim Nexus, you click on any/all files and that happens? If so it sounds like something on your PC is blocking the javascript that does that initial AJAX call on the page. I've tested this on Firefox 26.0 with no plugins installed across a range of different and random files on Skyrim Nexus and I can't repeat it, which would suggest it's something between your PC and our servers, and I'm more inclined to think it's client side than server side.Dark0ne: You got me to remember when this happened to me. I think a Virus protection program is responsible. I use Firefox and it happened a while back. Updating my Firefox fixed the problem. It may be the same with Explorer and from what I understood sometime the Virus portection scan will get a false positive. Hope this helps the person. darkfyrech
Same here, firefox 53.0.2. Has been happening for months to me.
clp120591
I'm having the same issue and it's occurring on multiple browsers. Namely Firefox 53.0.2 and Chrome 58.0.3029.110. However, there are a few patterns I've noticed that may help to identify the problem. The mod pages seem to malfunction following the download of a previous mod, then navigating to another mod page. Consequently, I've also learned that if you log out of your Nexus Mods account and then log back in, the mod page will behave normally but the process will repeat itself when navigating to another.
