tarr2k
Hi. I'm new to modding, been reading the many tutorials and have been stumbling through the GECK, but there's something I just can't seem to get my head around, and that's ways to conditionally modify certain stats of an object. For instance, say you had a special ballcap that said that when you had a baseball bat, that bat would have more hit points, use less action points, weighed less, and had a better critical chance, but it only affected my bat, not all the bats in the world, and it would lose that ability if I sold the bat. Is that possible? Or can those kind of things only be set at the items creation? Thanks!
TGBlank
You can pretty much forget about variable stats the way you want it. BUT you can have two bats with different stats and the same name, and use a script to switch them.
