Since yesterday my download speeds are capped by about 200kb/s and I don't know what I can do about it. I saw that the slowest server for me is Amsterdam, so I'm wondering if it's possible to manually select a download server.

Country: Germany

Internet Service Provider (ISP): Deutsche Telekom AG

CDN Test: 0.2MB/s

Average Download Speed (non-Nexus downloads): 5MB/s

Download Tests:

  • EU - Prague: 5.5MB/s (Best)

  • Worldwide - Premium CDN: 4.8MB/s (High)

  • US - Miami: 3.9MB/s (High)

  • US - Chicago: 3.4MB/s (High)

  • US - Los Angeles: 1.9MB/s (Medium)

  • EU - Amsterdam: 0.4MB/s (Low)

Hi Taco,

Manually selecting a server is exclusive to our Premium members, so you won't be able to change it with a free account. You will be connected to the server our system determines as closest to you.

It does appear that you have a bad connection to that server, which is a fault you could report to your ISP or perhaps try using a VPN to see if you get connected to another server (or bypass the weak link in your current connection).
