food huh?

personaly an ++shuders++ everquest system of auto eating i wouldent mind just becouse there are situations in which food and water is a major factor (wilderness survival, freshly escaped from prison for egsample)

the need for eating would not, and should not, be implemented by default. of course, people will make this a plugin akin to the necessities of morrowind plugin.

 

besides, in reality, you don't drop dead after 6-7 days of not eating. some people can go a good 2 weeks or more. your body eats itself first anyway, consuming fat stores and breaking down muscle to get energy. so your own physical makeup would affect it.

 

that aside, it would be interesting to see a plugin that made eating not only a requirement, but also makes what you eat affect your attributes. for example, eat lots of meat, get more strength. basically along the lines of the diablo-clone in Ergheiz.

 

one thing i would like to see though, is food (not ingredients) that always succeeds at recovering fatigue. i shouldn't have to eat 5+ buns to succeed at recovering a little fatigue, just because my intelligence is low. that would actually give a reason for carrying bread or eggs at all.
