MaiaTXH
I was playing Skyrim on my PC, and I was very upset with Skyrim's graphcis(playing on Ultra). And then, I watched some videos of graphics mods, that obviously won't run on my notebook. Searching for graphics, I found a gameplay video of The Elder Scrolls Online. I was surprised with the graphics and the Heads Up Display. So, I would like to have a mod, with improved textures, shadows... I want a mod, or mods, that improve that. But I don't want those mods like Graphics Overhaul with that Battlefield 4 graphics. I want simple mods, to improve Skyrim graphics. Sorry for my english, i'm from Brazil and I still learning english :p
TaeRai
There's lots of texture mods out there. Try looking through all the ones on the NExus to find the one you like
dernachtwolf
Well I have a few suggestions on improving your graphics. My first question is what are your system specs? (specifically processor, ram, and graphics card) Second question is what type of improvement are you looking for? overall, scenery, or actual character? These are some mods you may want to try that I run/have run in the past on my laptop skyrim 2k textures - very easy way to improve your gamehttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/607 flora overhaul - helps improve the sceneryhttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/141 lush grass and trees - more sceneryhttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3288 imaginator - lets you change the tints, bloom, etc (I would also suggest using the MCM adapter for this. Requires skse and MCM then too so this is kind of heavy on the system)http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13049 realistic lighting - improves the lighting of the game. Makes dungeons darker, shadows corrected, etc.http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30450 immersive armors - Makes the npc's armors all different and variedhttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19733/? There are a whole host of body mods, face gens, armor mods, hair mods, etc to improving the look of your character as well as npcs. I won't list these here. As for the settings provided by bethesda, use the settings your rig can handle from the launcher, but remove aa and af. Then add these mods above. You would be surprised by how big a difference setting the game to a higher setting w/out aa, af, and lowering shadows makes. I run an i7 quad core @ 2.2 GHz, w/ 8 gigs RAM, and AMD Radeon card 6490m w/ 1 gb vram. I can run skyrim with small enbs on my laptop as well as 50 mods and growing. chanchan05
Enhanced Lights and FX together with Climates of Tamriel are for me, better than Realistic Lighting Overhaul.
dernachtwolf
If you experience studdering with a Radeon card, there is a mod out there for fixing that, although I don't use it since it would replace a file needed to use enbs Edited December 24, 2013 by dernachtwolf
