Alfierulz
I launch the fose_loader.exe and I don't log in to G4WL (Games for Windows Live) when I launch it. I tried signing into G4WL before I launched it but that didn't work. Can anyone help me?
TGBlank
RTFM * FOSE is incompatible with Windows Live, so when running via fose_loader.exe, Live will be disabled. As Live operates as a cheat-detection tool similar to Punkbuster or VAC, FOSE's in-memory modifications are inherently incomptible. Don't worry about being banned or anything like that, everything still works when running Fallout normally. To download DLC, launch fallout3.exe directly instead of via the loader. After downloading the DLC, you will then need to move the DLC files in to the Fallout data folders to use them like any other mod.
Alfierulz
Must have missed that part of the documenation. xD How can I get my saves working with FOSE then? And I can't find my DLC anywhere. :(
TGBlank
Your saves are in whatever weird folder LIVE decided to put them when you're logged to live. I can't recall exactly WHERE they are or where are the dlc downloaded to, but i can tell you how to find them: Saves:Search your computer's C drive (Start -> Search) for .fos files, that is the extension of fallout saves. Once you find them, you want to move them to:C:\Documents and Settings\<your user name>\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves\ DLCs:Search your computer's C drive for .bsa and .esm files, you should see a bunch in your fallout\data folder (that's where you want them), and your dlcs in some random LIVE folder, you want to move the ones in the live folder to your fallout/data folder (they should be 2 bsas and 1 esm for each DLC). You also want to activate them in FOMM (Once they are in your data folder, they'll work like any other mod).
