Tonlor
I like some of the stuff on that thread, but I have no way of getting in touch with him. It seems very interesting and very close to what I am looking for, if only he'd kept up with it. :/ Tonlor
Veruleus
I seriously dislike both Factions. There should have been a third faction of TRUE freedom fighters that weren't narrow-minded racists or power hungry. Hell, they could've used the Forsworn. In hopes for a mod like this to be created! Tonlor
No activity :( I really want to see this kind of Mod created. I know it would be extensive, but I think who ever does it could make it frikin awesome. Maybe even a hidden ancient Dragonborn castle/cave built into a rock face as a base of operations, and he has to find it before he can begin recruiting for his cause. Could pretty easily tie in the Blades to it as well. Just a thought, Tonlor
azerty852
I think it would need to be the hard option. The dragonborn army would have very limited ressources and very little troops you would be fighting 3 versus 10 or even worse and maybe at the end the dragonborn army would have to fight both the other armies at the same time because the thalmors spies told Ulfric and the imperial guy (I always forget his name) that the dragonborn is causing the dragon attacks. That would be awesome.
Tonlor
It would also depend on how rich the Dragonborn is, and how well he is at crafting. Say he can craft Dadric weapons and dragon armor, even though you had smaller numbers you'd have the advantage of stronger men ^^
azerty852
You are right. A rich dragonborn can equip some elite troops without a problem. But for me money is only the tip of the iceberg. I would like to see all the skills having a big role to play. A good thief can steal documents and falsify them. A good illusionnist can trick someone into thinking that he is signing something good for him. A good destruction mage can put a whole city on fire. A good archer can snipe a jarl or two. A very good mage can create a fake oblivion gate and summon one or two daedra and send some soldiers clothed like the mythic dawn menber to try to trick the enemy into thinking that there is another faction involved. Or an alchemist can make fake gold to throw it at the enemies (super effective against mercenaries). Or a good restoration mage can play a support role and boost the survival rate of his soldiers. It could even be possible to have dragons fighting for you with a lot of speechcraft and the dragonrend shout. What i would like is simple: a questline that would be impossible for a random nobody, something so hard that only a dragonborn that mastered at least four or five skills can try to do it. And with a lot of meaningful choices . For exemple if the dragonborn destroy a city, he losses a lot of potential allies and not only in that place. The worst case scenario could be the dragonborn wins the first civilar war but the half of skyrim is dead or trying to kill him and there is a second civil war and this is a bad end. Just some random and probably bad ideas.

MisterSky90
Third group, should be entirely independent, so the best thing is some mode that let people join your group (which should be with option to be named as player want), and plus to add folowers of main story to this group too, it would be awesome... maybe some group with two ways of story (noble, and bandit like) ...orLet companions etc... to do part in civil war after death of old man (leader). monganfinn
You are Dragonborn, thus you don´t need some poor mortal army, you can send dragons into battle! After having cleared Labyrinthion aka the old Bromjunaar, main seat of the Dragon Cult and having defeated Alduin, thus having become the overlord of the dragons, you and a few companions relocate to Bromjunaar and excert your influence from there.Calling on the guilds you are the leader of you can put pressure on the different faction leaders and jarls.Refugees, tired of the war, populate Bromjunaar. With the dragons at your call you can force the other factions into cooperation - a new season unending where you carve out territory for yourself or end the whole civil war itself if your speech skill is high enough. In a duel of shouts you defeat Ulfric, thus, per tradition, absorbing the Stormcloaks into your army.Offering a diplomatic solution and a military might strong enough to oppose the Thalmor, Balgruuf, the one intelligent jarl, supports you.Leaving only the imperial cities to take. Then in a moot you are elected High King. Finally a Thalmor/Imperial army tries to invade Skyrim through the mountain gates. - respawning enemies that offer endless grinding. Or you take the path of a true conqueror and use the dragons to bring all the other holds to heel. Then iyou are crowned High King by the moot. - Nobody may attend since you killed them all. Finally a Thalmor/Imperial army tries to invade Skyrim through the mountain gates. - respawning enemies that offer endless grinding and massive battles.
