abriael
Yesterday i erroneously installed a mod that changed (without warning) all the bodies in the game (i currently use HGEC). When i reinstaleld HGEC, everything went back to normal, besides one detail. I have the Demon Race installed and the Kawa-Kajiits, and made companions based on both races. They worked perfectly before the mishap. Now their tails are missing, or sometimes show as a corrupt mesh shooting from their rear to the roof of the room they are in. The same effect happens to the tail of a Kawa-Kajit companion done by someone else (so it isn't just mine). The fun thing is that it happens only with NPCs (not sure if just companions, i haven't come around placing normal non-companions NPCs yet), main characters of that race display the tail just fine, also, companions of other races with tails display their tail just fine. Here's what I tried so far Uninstalling-reinstalling HGEC and textures. Uninstalling-reinstalling Demon RaceUninstalling-reinstalling Kawa-Kajit raceDeactivating all my mods besides the ones directly involved in displaying the NPCs (CM Partners, the two races, and the ESPs with the companions in them) No go, the tails always end up being borked and i seem not to be able to find a way to get them back to their original condition. Any idea on how should i go about solving this? I could just remove the tails altogether from the races, but it'd be a pity...
LFact
If you made any tailed race NPC, you should give them beast race skeleton, else tail problem can happen. I can't remember the file name, but you can duplicate any Khajiit or Argonian NPC, then edit the duplicated NPC.
