MsDiana
Hi there, I'm very new to modding Skyrim and ran into a lot of trouble trying to modify the game. The mods that i've been installing don't work, or partially don't work. I managed to install a few correctly but the big problem with my mods (not created by myself) is that when a new building, NPC, item, quest, or vendor option should be added, nothing happens.I can still obtain some of the content from the mod but still not all.I did manage to correctly install the CBBE v3 body and it works with no problems. But other things don't, while i did install everything like how i should've done it. Can somebody help me on this? -Raven
Xander9009
Are you installing these manually or using a mod manager such as Nexus Mod Manager?

CapNKirkland
i was the same way. it was too intimidating and confusing at first glance. i recommend taking a look at Gopher's videos. on beginners modding. he does an excellent job at teaching and his voice is relaxing as f***! keep in mind that most of his videos are as old as early 2012 but 98% of his teachings can translate to current updates if you pay close enough attention to what he says.as for me, i'm still in a paranoid state of mind when it comes to modding as i broke skyrim twice and had to delete EVERYTHING including all the mods and the game itself to do a clean install. but thanks to gopher, i no longer have panic attacks when it comes to selecting and installing my mods.. i'm just super careful now. Xander9009
as for me, i'm still in a paranoid state of mind when it comes to modding as i broke skyrim twice and had to delete EVERYTHING including all the mods and the game itself to do a clean install.Yup, that's what prompted my move to Mod Organizer. Need to get rid of a mod? A lot of mods? Uncheck them. Skyrim folder is untouched so you never have to reinstall :)
