9Volt1
Please let me know if you do know what mod adds crates called Scatola Metallica. I googled "fallout 3 scatola metalica" and tried again with "metallica." All of the results were in Italian. All these crates full of amazing amounts of gear are triggering my O.C.D. and ruining the flow of the game as I hoard more weapons and stimpaks than I'll ever use. :wallbash: You'll see in the screen shot that I have over 100,000 Microfusion cells. I love managing limited resources and this makes it pointless for me. Thanks, 9Volt
TGBlank
I'll give you a hint:It's a mod in italian. Scatola Metallica is the italian name for your generic metal boxes, a mod (in italian) is editing them and adding the items. If through name alone or file description you can't find any obvious offender, fire up fo3edit and hunt for the box.
9Volt1
I'd love for the solution to be so simple. I carefully read all descriptions before downloading. Seems like I'd notice Italian. Thanks for pointing out FO3Edit. I looked in the containers directory for my mods. None were in Italian and none listed scatola metallica. Should I be looking at subheadings other than containers? I'm trying to avoid unchecking mods and reloading the game one at a time here. Hopefully someone just knows.
TGBlank
The trick would be to open fo3edit, open all your mods on it, expand fallout.esm, containers, then find the metal boxes (there should be several). One of the mods that edits one of said boxes is putting it in italian. In other words, look at the name record on the right window on any entry called "metal box" on fallout.esm that is highlighted (that is, it's not black text over white background). muppetsoup
Wouldn't you be able to go into the console, click the item to see the mod index, and then go into FOMM to see which mod it is?
TGBlank
It'll tell you it's from fallout.esm -.-. getbaseobject will only tell you who created it, not who modifies it last.

Thanks for your time. It was "Wheaton Armory - Very Hard." I double checked its page. Nothing in the description there nor was there a readme in the download. All it was supposed to do was make the Raiders at said location tougher. I left the author a comment letting him know that he should describe EVERYTHING the mod does.
