I know the ideas I’ve given are pretty baseline and need meat, but tell me what you think so far. If you want a more in depth story, leave a comment saying so, please. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1: BRIEG SUMMARY Grey Skies and Red Trees is an in depth, lore friendly, character-choice based quest mod that will take you in to a massive war between the world’s most fearsome predators. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------2: WHAT "OF GREY SKIES AND RED TREES" HAS TO OFFER The land of Discordia is, despite its name, peaceful. But those times are not to last for long. A human (that’s you…just not for long) has had visions. They foretell two very different ends. Grey Skies and Red Trees will include:The chance to become either fierce lichen or a powerful vampire.A possibility for romance (quest oriented) for either gender, somewhat like Morrowind's underground.....just with a completely different story line.New weapons, armor, spells, and entire new world with maps (hopefully) and new NPCs. (this is in difference to Vanilla, not any modded game type.)An in depth story line that will take you across the lands of Discordia and in to the vicious depths of your own mind where Darkness and the End await.A war unlike any other with intense battles, nerve wracking scouting missions, and lethal espionage into enemy lines.Choices, Choices, and more Choices that will determine the fate of you, Discordia, and very possibly the worldA (so far) undetermined number of quests that will send you inside your own mind, to every corner of Discordia, and even back to Cyrodil. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------3: THE QUESTS SO FAR Main: A battle against yourself is the end all of it. A powerful being has taken residence in your mind and has horrible plans for Discordia; plans that involve you. You will find yourself pitted against your inner demon and all of its minions, both inside your mind and outside of it. (The demon is the same sex as you. He is Aiden, or She is Cambria) Side: A possible romance with one of your Shades (one of the "inner demons" high ranking servants). This will be completely dependent on your choices. They determine if the Shade will die, who will kill it if it does die, if the he or she will even love you, and how far your relationship with the Shade turns out. (The Shade is the opposite sex from you. He is Kratos or She is Meara) Side: A quest for a mighty weapon. The weapon is a sentient being named Blitzkrieg. He was once a noble warrior who failed to kill either Aiden or Cambria. When Blitzkrieg failed, the demon cursed him to live forever in his own sword, as a reminder to him that he is nothing more than a weapon to be used by the most powerful being. (He's quite the quiet one, so don't worry about him getting annoying with uncontained speech.) Side: Free Blitzkrieg; he will then serve as an unerring companion, a devastating fighter for you, and the world’s greatest human meat shield!!!! (He does have feelings thought, so don't be a jerk.) Side: Reclaiming you mind. The Demon has laid waste to your minds most inner sanctums, molding them to his desire, contorting and destroying the landscape of your thoughts so that it is unrecognizable. All you have claim to is a small grotto that you managed to keep hidden from him as you held on to yourself. You will be able to reconstruct until it is the way you see it with the help of your Shades. Or maybe you're a deranged psychopath just like Aiden(Cambria) and you like it just the way it is. Fate permitting, i will get some help with this project, and there will then be more quests. Some will be trivial, others of pressing importance to Discordia. Only time will tell. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------4: THE PLEA FOR HELP Grey Skies and Red Trees is...well, not going to happen without a lot of help. Quite frankly, it's a shadow of a doubt with a great story line and no support what-so-ever. :wallbash: MODDERS!!! THIS IS FOR YOU!!!!!!!! I need some people (or a person) with as much time on their hands as me....which is to say quite a bit. I also need people who are good with meshes and texturing, and even more importantly, SCRIPTING I’m the world’s most epic failure when it comes to all that. I'm good at writing though. Therefore.....I"M USELESS TO THE MODDING COMMUNITY WITHOUT THE HELP OF VERY KIND INDIVIDUALS WHO WOULDN"T MIND HELPING ME!!!!!!.......... -.- Alright....if you're skeptical, PM me and I’ll give you a basic overview of the story. Anyways this is a very interesting concept and personally I feel it could be one of the most-important mod releases if and when it comes out...I would love to help you but my hands are a little tied with real-life stuff and a current project I am working on.
