When i load up one of the textures in photshop like an armor or something, all i get is the armor skin all pink and weirded out colors. How do i fix it to display normally so i can edit it properly?

You have to convert the dds file into another format.

Try this little program:

Think *png is a good choise.

After you edited it successfully you'll have to convert it back into dds.

(dxt5 with alpha channel)
