Missing Plugin Button With startup error image

Received this error on start up beginning 19/5/2023 (US) to date of post. No Plugin button.

Attempted following fixes after referencing https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/12891273-common-solutions-megathread/?p=124189977 and linked github topic with this indicated on Extensions section both before and after fix attempt.

 

 

C++ Redistributable downloaded & installed: most recent x86

Downloaded and Installed new req of .NET 6.0+ (my original install was 1.5.13)

Downloaded most recent Vortex installer from: Vortex at Modding Tools - Nexus Mods

2 attempted install overs and 1 uninstall/reinstall of 1.8.3 with Anti-virus and firewall enabled.

1 attempted install over and 1 uninstall/reinstall of 1.8.3 with Anti-virus and firewall disabled.

 

In all cases same error, No plugin button and failed Gamebryo Plugin Management Extension.

Seems I downloaded and installed the wrong C++ Redistributable. Needed to use the x64 one.

 

It would have been nice if the explanation of what the ARM64, X86 and x64 versions are for that I have linked below had been included in the Common Solutions Post for the issue. There isn't an explanation on the Microsoft page linked in the Common Solutions Post either.
