No rush doing the quests, plenty of other things to do.

FlyingFox
Well, yes, Shakkara, levels do have a big effect on your game... a level 100 character is going to be a bit stronger than a level 1 character. For going into the dwemer ruin for that quest, I'd suggest level 10... but that may be overdoing it, or underdoing it... it depends on how well you roll-play. You could just go in, save before anything attacks you, try to complete the quest, and if you get killed easily, you know you aren't ready yet for the task. Just come back later. Yeah ok, there is a difference between lvl 1 and 100, but not much with chars with 5 levels difference. Equipment matters a lot though, and you can get levels by increasing skills you don't really need, or get more attribute points when levelling then the other char too... DreamOfTheRood
The best thing to do in this case is what everybody tells you to do in the game. Join a guild, get some experience and then rock out with the Daedric and Dwemer ruins.I waited until I was level 20 before I even went back to Caius Cossades for the Blades quests. It just seemed like there was so much more to the game world than just the main quest. Oh and is there more ...
Shakkara
Ditto, I have been playing ever since the game was released, and I just did the third trial this weekend! I never even finished the main quest, working on it now though.
Switch
bah, level 6 should be enough to at least try :P but thats speaking from a warriors point of view, assassins arent so head on also dwemer ruins are sort of spooky. if u find them too scary just turn the lighting up under video options and turn the sound down a bit and dont worry being scared is normal at the start of the game... i used to HATE any quests i got involving dwemer ruins but i soon got used 2 it :P
Shakkara
Yes, Dwemer ruins sure have 10/10 for creepiness! I just hate them and I don't want to go near them. However, I am going to red mountain for the main quest right now :o
