The parts that I want the black texture on is black and the wood texture shows up just fine on the reciever but its the gold that giving me problems. SonAnima Posted June 10, 2023 Author Share Posted June 10, 2023 Found the solution and the problem is with substance painter itself. Some materials (mainly the smart materials) dont send any color to the difuse channel so I kept getting a black metal in nifskope. If you want a gold color then you have to color your difuse gold as well. Messing with the difuse will also mess with how bright or dark a metal is while messing with the specular will determine how shiny your metal is. Thanks 84Cronos your hint help solve the problem I I wouldnt had found this out if I didnt look at the difuse maps for the Gold Bars to see how the game handles gold.
