Mods not working :c

Hello,

 

I recently bought Darksouls on a steam sale, and am attempting to mod it, but with no success.

After activating the mods and running the game via Nexus Mod Manager, Darksouls runs as it usually would; minus the mods, none of them seem to be working.

 

I dont understand, I've used NMM successfully in the past (skyrim & morrowind)- Am I doing something wrong?

 

 

Additional information:

Nexus Mod Manager version: 0.46.0 (compatability set to 'run as admin')

all mods have been downloaded via both NMM and manualy.
