THerron
Howdy all. I'm new to modding Fallout and recently tried my hand at it and failed miserably. I did a full uninstall and then went and deleted the game folder from steam, then deleted the folder in the documents/my games directory, then re-installed, then tried to run a 100% vanilla copy of Fallout 3 GOTY and I get an unknown publisher popup whenever I run the game from steam. The unknown publisher popup started happening after I installed FOSE the first time. I am extremely OCD about making sure everything is 100% normal and the popup leads me to believe that there is remnants of FOSE lingering somewhere or I wouldn't get the popup (because the FalloutLauncher would be listed as published by Bethesda). Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of this??? I should note that I wanted to be able to run Fallout 3 through steam with FOSE so I was told to rename the fose_launcher to FalloutLauncher (which worked fine but with the popup) I've deleted the file and tried to do the verify cache thing and it re-downloaded the file with no change. What do I do?!?!?!?!?!
danielcook
Perhaps looking for a programs to 'clean' your OS'registry? I'd recommend CCleaner but I haven't used it in ages.

BlackRampage
Just add the fose_loader executable to your games library. (in Steam: Games > add a non-steam game to My Library)
