"Extension failed to load" popup on startup.

I've never posted on an advice thread before, so I don't know how much information to put here. I've already undownloaded and redownloaded vortex.

Did you ever find a solution? Mine is doing this now after I upgraded my PC and tried to re-download it to the new one. Never had an issue on the old PC and I've downloaded the C ++ X64, then the X86 after it did it again.

There's no solution there, it just links back to the question. Any solutions?

 

Edit: For anyone playing along at home, the answer is in a question further up the page. The one telling you to install the C++ redistributable. I had the x86 but needed the x64 version. Solved

Can confirm was trying to download the wrong one as well.
