lVlagiick
Hello there, I've got a question about my laptop. I've got the possibility to upgrade from one GT650M to GT650M SLI. Now is the question, is it wise to do so? Specs:Lenovo iDeapad Y500Intel i5-3210Nvidia GT650M500Gb HDD8GB RamWindows 8 x64 Please help me. It seems like Skyrim can handle SLI but is it wise to do so, so I can for example: Run on,50-60fps with 2k textures and a low-medium enb? Thanks for all responses in advance! P.S. The Nexus forums community seems nice overall to me ^^

HeyYou
SLI won't give you that much of a performance bump. 10-15% at the very best. To me, it just isn't a cost effective upgrade. You might be able to run the 2K textures without the upgrade..... depending on the amount of VRAM you have. (and upgrading won't fix that either, unless the other cards come with more vram than your current card. If you already have a one gig card, the upgrade would need to have 4 or more total vram to make it worth while.)
