feralswirl Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 In the Creation Kit, you can pull fully formed (exterior) houses, inns, stables, etc out of the object list for a mod. However, I'd like to create my own style of building, and NOT use the basic Farmhouse01, etc. I know how to create my own house in the Kit, using a bunch of pieces, but.... as I am using it multiple places (too far away to dup and drag), and there'll be 4-6 houses, and I really don't want to hand-build each one each time. So is there a way to make an exterior house from scratch, and then save it as a single object like Farmhouse01?
DragonDude1029 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 You could model the house by copying the individual meshes in NIFskope. After that you can set up an object that uses your new house mesh.
DragonDude1029 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Sorry if I was ambiguous. Here's a tutorial for you: http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/tutorials/article/98-static-mashups-in-nifskope/
Tamira Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Or you could create (assemble) it in an empty new interior cell that is not being used by your mod and then copy the whole building and paste it where you want it to be.
