jefe323
The image should explain everything. Not sure what this is or how to get rid of it. It shows up in every time I try to edit a world space. Any help would be appreciated

Pronam
Do you use vista? Tried opening CS with XP - compatibility mode?Otherwise...updated towards the latest version of your video-card or directX? no 9 end-user runtime? (vista and dx10 don't have the latest of directx9 included...)
Vagrant0
The heightmap editor generally needs more than 2gb system RAM to produce any usable results. The problem you are experiencing is likely due to either corruption upon generation or loading of the worldspace, or because you have a .raw file in the location that the heightmap editor imports from that is the wrong format. If you are working on a small worldspace (less than 500 cells), you should use the landscape editor instead of the heightmap editor. Not only will doing so result in a much smaller filesize, but also because it will be much more reliable.
