mydah42
I've searched around the forum and with Google and even over on the Skyrmmods subreddit and I can't find an answer to a couple of questions. I have downloaded a follower mod. I would like to make a couple of changes to it. 1) Can I make changes without breaking my game?2) Would it be better to re-create the follower with the changes? myztikrice
There's probably no documentation because nothing you do or change will affect anything.
mydah42
Mytikrice I don't understand your statement. Are you saying that mods don't work? Or are you saying that it is impossible to change any settings in a mod?
XMan77
I have altered vanilla NPCs mid game with no problems. I don't think there will be a problem if you change the follower. Back up your saves and the mod in its current state then make the changes. Once you make the changes play around with it for a while to see if anything is out of place. If something does go wrong you can just go back to the previous version of the mod and your old save. Edited December 31, 2013 by XMan77

mydah42
Thanks for the reply XMan77. My big concern is that a follower is different from an NPC because they are part of my adventuring party. I suppose I can dismiss the follower, make the changes, and then get them to join again. XMan77
I don't think there's any difference between a follower and an NPC.They're essentially the same thing.
