TeeFwock Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 Yea, you need multiples of the same equipment to repair, however this does not apply to unique weapons, they may be repaired by using parts from one type of similar weapon (i.e. to repair Fawke's super sledge use a super sledge) Also note that using one piece of equipment to repair another (very roughly) is like adding their condition bars together. So if the equipment you are repairing is close to how far you are capable of repairing it and you use another one you may be wasting much of the potential of the piece of equipment you are using. Also, if you repair an item past the condition of another compatible item you cannot (I may not be completely correct here, but I am positive that you cannot use an item at 100% to repair another item) use the less damaged item to repair the more damaged item. (this becomes annoying if you carry around spare equips to repair your unique items and accidentally let your unique items condition fall below that of your spare equips.)
