Deleted4926372User
How do Archery, Block, One-handed, Sneak all relate to a dragon stats ? I see all dragons have skill points in each of them but none in destruction. Is Archery related to the breath damage ? -I'm tweaking Durnehviir. Is it possible to have him stronger as you level up (not necessarily leveling up at the same rate as I do ) and still set a max level for him ?I've heard he is stuck once you meet him for the first time.-By the way, what is the proper actor reference for Odahviing. The ones I found are incomplete(level 1, no spells, skill at minimum). Edited December 31, 2013 by Guest
Xander9009
I don't know for sure, but if I had to venture a guess, I'd say no, Archery isn't related to the breath damage. I say that because the breath attacks are shouts, just like yours. They're set up to be easily used by dragons, but they're still relatively normal shouts in the CK. That's also why they don't have any points in destruction, they don't use destruction magic. The higher their Sneak skill, the better they are at detecting the sneaking player. The higher their Block, the better they are at preventing damage (I believe it gives a constant damage prevention even though they can't actively block like we can, but I'm not certain). The damage from their jaws might be governed by One-Handed. Do they use claw attacks? (I don't know, I'm never in close enough for that. I always play mages or the occasional archer.) If so, it'll probably also be governed by One-Handed. Not sure what Archery would do. A couple guesses would be aiming their shouts, and perhaps (though it's unlikely) it affects their movement speed while shouting/preparing to shout. If you want better help, you might consider asking the author of Ultimate Dragon Allies. He specifically enhanced Durnahviir and Odahviing in his mod, so he might have some insights. The wikia says nothing about those skills on dragons, only humanoid npcs =/
Deleted4926372User
Perhaps the sneak skill is indeed used to detect the player. One dragon Durnehviir after killing a Giant went to another side of the mountain to attack a fort. But I'd like to have all these skills checked
