Complex mod which involves severed limbs

damage should be modified...you can get your arm/foot/head blown up by a pistol. rifle, sniper, etc., that's not real, only grenades, mines, missiles or maybe shotguns at close range should blow up you/or other npc's ( this part won't pose diffuclty in creating the mod as there are a number of mods out there that already deal with damage)

If ur arm is severed you won't die instantly but you will suffer from blood loss and shock ( you will need to see a doctor or apply something very hot on the wound ( an item/items...ex: 10 flamer fuel ammo and a frying pan or something)

NPC's reaction should be like the following: some of them will try to flee away after their arm has been severed others will try to attack you( humans only) while super mutants will never flee with a severed arm due to their violent nature...

After your limb has been severed you could go to a doctor that will treat your wound ( no more blood loss) but it won't heal it physically...for that you'll have to pay some good money for android prostethics

 

PS: also if your limb has been severed you won't be able to use 2 handed weapons (duuuh)

well I'm afraid someone will have to do another mod... where at the begining you choose if you are right handed or left handed... If you re right handed and you lose that arm, you will have less accuracy with your weapon...

and while they are at it, they can also double the res and detail of every model in game, add a player expansion pack that offers 2000 times more quests and items, cure cancer and resolve the disputes between countries and religions ending in some cases 2 and a half thousand year old conflicts forming a single cohesive stable govement that respects all the rights and freedoms of its citizins, opening the path for humanity to take to the stars.

Being trival about something which is extremly hard to do, and which has some extremly large gameplay loopholes is rather well silly.

 

How do you EVER get your arm fixed? why not lose two arms and keep living after all its not really fatal if you get to a medic.

How about legs?

 

Part by part dismemberment of npcs could work, for it to work for the player you would need tobeable to get cybernetic replacements(which fits fallout law)

 

How about a cripple mod where after having had both arms and both legs blown off, your eyes poked out and tongue cut off, you can roll around in the dirt outside megatrong scratching sign language into the ground.

The guy asked a reasonable question about your hand getting blown off, saying someone else needs to make a mod to deal with it, which your suggestion doesnt anyways is just plain annoying.

 

PS-Bullets can quite easily server arms, especily if there high velocity large caliber and they hit the bone, the resulting bone shrapnal can tear the entire arm off.

Even when the arm is still attached amputations due to damage and contamination of the wound can result in it needing to be removed.

but how would you fix it?

I mean its not like you can just GLUE it back on in the field?

you'd have to go (which wouldn't be easy) to a doctor and get it replaced (maybe have a regular bodypart and a way more expensive, but way nicer cybernetic replacement)

or maybe add some kinda radio item to call a med team to take you to their base/fix you up right there (but have it all in locked cinematics and dialogue)

course that wouldn't be easy

and you'd need a great explanation of HOW these people seem to appear out of nowhere and fix only you :P
