The Fall of The Imperials

It was another misty day in the Grazelands of Morrowind. On the cost of the Sea of Ghosts lies the Port of Millaras and the captivating Imperial Fort of Strikemoth. It's turrets standing high above the great land.

 

Champion Arturius walk's into the The End Bar, Proudly wearing his Imperial Armor and his trusty sword Eterne. He walk's over to the board and post's a decree.

 

Attention battle worthy warriors. As you may have been informed the Empire is at war. Fort Strikemoth is short of spears. Help needed. You will be paid 1500 Septims a month for your services. Speak to Arturius at the legion fort. Long live the Emperor!

 

Arturius get's up and walks to the the exit of the bar. When a messenger run's through the door handing him a piece of paper he ruches out of the office and to his barracks at the Legion Fort.

[Arturius]

Saji, notes the confidence in the stride of arturius,

 

Walking into the fort wearing his imperial uniform he walks to a guard.

"hello friend i'm looking for arturius" *he half purrs*

 

walking carefuly to the office he knock on arturius door.

 

"Greeings sir, i heard you were in need of spears, though i fear my skill with a spear maybe somewhat lacking for your cause. i feel saji may be able to help though. i was until recently quatermaster of the 3rd legion since it has departed my position has been" *he purrs a second* "quiet".

 

"My former commander suggest i might speak to one like you and aid you as i can"

"Very well Saji I understand that you are skilled in stealth. Your reputation procedes you. And do to the recent turn of events I will shurely take your skills. Please go to the trooper outside he will bring you to your quarters. I will call you when needed."

 

Arturius extends his hand in a thankful gesture to Saji.

[Arturius]

*Saji bows, shaking his hand in a curteous way.*

 

*he retires from the chamber*

(to the trooper)

"Greetings friend, Saji needs new quaters."

 

"you look bored my friend, perhaps you play cards"

*saji Produces a deck*

(he might take a little of the guards money if he plays but hes not going to completely fleece him assuming the guard isn't better/ luckier than him? )

 

"so my friend how many have come to join lord arturius cause so far?" *purrs*

OCC: I've been given permision to play Draxonius buy draighox because he is going to be away from his computer.

 

Draxonius walks into the middle of the grand hall of Fort Strikemoth a place wich will now be his new home for the next few years. He requested a transfer from Fort Pelagiad because nothing ever happens there ( Which is true). He goes up to a poor looking Trooper who seems to have lost a game of betting. "Excuse me sir, who is the commanding officer."

 

"Arturius two doors down on your left, can't miss it."

 

He walks down the hall and enters the designated room to find Arturius sitting down at his desk writing out orders.

 

"Agent Draxonius reporting sir."

 

"Ahh. I have been expecting you you will be stationed in barracks 4. And will report directly to me tommorow morning. No go I have work to do."

 

Draxonius gives a short bow and leaves hearing people wispering about potential rumors that fort frostmoth has fallen.

 

"Trooper! Tell Saji to report to my office in the morning"

[Arturius]

*Saji goes and buys a crate of ale from the nearest store*

*Returns to the mess hall that evening*

(to troopers) "Hello Friends" he purrs " i seem to have over ordered a little, saji was wondering now the watches are done if you could help him with this problem..."

*he passes bottles of ale around the room*

"Hows the day passed, any news from the city or the front?"

if he passes draxonius

"well met friend, i haven't seen you in these parts before, will you join us for some ale?"

 

(i always find people talk more freely after a few drinks, saji's doing this to try and build up some comradeship with and between the troopers and possibly gleam some information on whats going on)

Arturius spent the whole night writing out order's and drawing up potential battle plans for the coming future. The words on his recently recieved letter still buzzing in his head.

 

Attention Champion Arturius. We have recently recieved a report that Fort Frostmoth has fallen you are to lead an small force sonsisting of no more thn 5 men not including yourself to Solsthiem to look for survivors. You must make your opperation a quick one and stealthy. We believe they are using the island as a base for their intended invasion of morrowind. If so you shall be under the command of Knight Protector Falco. Expect Sir Falco to arrive at Strikemoth within the week. Long live the Emperor!

OOC: I finally found a computer with internet access (this is a national programming contest after all ;) ). I will return tomorrow.

 

"I always enjoy good company, especially when there is some ale. My name is Draxonius, I have recently arrived from Fort Pelagiad. I think the Emperor needs my service here more, and I won't fail him!

[He looks around imperiously, as if looking for someone to disagree with him.]

Arturius walks up to Draxonius.

 

"His name is Saji and we will be our thief for the coming mission. As you may have heard the Orcs have taken Fort Frostmoth. We believe none survived but there was a special item in the cellars of Frostmoth that the Emperor must have. It is within a case. We are to retrieve it and go west to the Raven Rock colony. There are survivors there that the orcs have not yet found hiding in the caves. When we land at the mouth of the Iggnor ricer east of Frostmoth our friends shall aid us. I suggest you rest today while you can we leave at sundown. It's a days trip."
