redsquirrel666
Hi again :wallbash: I am trying to make an encounter of dogs that always have armor on (by pintocat :)). I have the dog made. When I open the armor nif in nifskope I can see the texture just fine and it looks how it should... but when I add it to the model list for creature\dog it appears in the correct shape, and on the dog correctly, but solid red. Is there a specific folder textures for Model List need to be, or does the Model List just work differently and I can't add nifs this way? Thanks :)
Deleted1084753User
Have you actually tested it in-game? There are a few things in the game that appear bright red in the editor but display fine in the game (the Chinese Stealth Armour being one example). redsquirrel666
I didn't.. I ended up finding a new way to edit the texture cause the original showed up fine and mine didn't :( I stupidly had converted to bmp to edit in my favorite editor and brought it back to dds, and it was hosed. So I guess I gotta find a new way to edit textures than using my paint program. Now I'm working on recoloring walls... and they look great with "Bright Light" turned on in the GECK, but when using normal light source they look like a glossy, bumpy mess. Apparently I'm missing maps.. I can't find where to set them in the NIF so I'm guessing they went to map heaven when I converted from dds to bmp. Dangit all.. hehe.
