I am having issues downloading larger mod files. I use NMM and I have also tried to use Vortex. Both are having the same issue.

I am getting timed out errors or erros saying "Network connect was not permitted, please check your firewall settings.

Manual downloads also fail and the message I get is "This site can’t be reachedsupporter-files.nexus-cdn.com took too long to respond. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall Running Windows Network Diagnostics ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT"

I can download some smaller files but nothing over 10 mb

Server Tests
Only file that would download was - Worldwide - Premium CDN

Please do the full suite of tests as noted in the sticky post otherwise we're not able to advise you.

here are the tests done as best as I could.

Counrty: Canada

ISP - Primus

EU Servers - Amsterdam, Prague - 25mb per sec

US Servers - Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami 19 mb per sec

Worldwide - Premium CDN - 29 mb per sec

 

Average Download Speed (non-Nexus downloads):

750.8 Mbps download

 

file under 20MB

I can not find a file larger that will download.. I get this error, any after 50 mb doesn't download.

its been like that for most of July now, Nexus hasn't done anything about it.
(And no, it's not an ISP issue, we have this issue across multiple ISPs, different PCs, and different games. This is something on Nexus's end.) Looking into the history, this is not the first time this problem has come up.

Wow, came here to post my problem and found several with an identical situation. From Canada too, Montreal. Cannot download anything upwards of 20MB.

 

Also, when doing the download tests I can only do the Worldwide one, the others do nothing.
