Tohru22 Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 As the title says…Is there a way to downgrade the game? I know I can do it to the classic one, but I wonder if you could do it through patches cause the recent patch 4.04 break the mods I had installed :/
FreshhCOX Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 I would also like to know if I could do this. The Steam betas only include 1.32. Are we stuck on whatever next gen version we have? I guess you always sail the seas and find a 4.00 version at least, but I would really like to continue my mod playthrough on 4.03.

FreshhCOX Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 If you got it on GOG, they'll let you select the version. It sucks they didn't put them in the betas on Steam. I did find out you can downgrade any Steam game though. I'm downloading the old files right now. This is actually pretty useful to know.

It won't run without updating.

It won't run without updating. Go to Steam and change to this: Only update this game when I launch it You should have an option to skip the update when you launch the game.

I'm Downloading this here and im thinking all I need to do is copy the game files into the root game dir. is that it? or am I missing something.
